A popular discount store opened their doors in the Sullivan County, NY community. It adds to the shopping experience in this area along with eateries and more.

This is also located in a convenient area within Monticello and a place where all ages would be excited to shop in.

Personally, it’s one of my favorite stores to shop in. They also have fun, inexpensive gifts for everyone in the family. At times, I buy stuff for myself while I’m there too.

They have yoga mats, t-shirts, socks, cards, sunglasses, candy and more. It’s an exciting store to shop in because things are priced reasonably and also have a good quality.

Sullivan County residents were excited for the grand opening of Five Below.

On Facebook, Five Below included information about their grand opening celebration in Monticello at Thompson Square Mall in June 2025.

They were having a weekend long celebration of this new store where they were giving away $10 gift cards, drawstring bags and more.

We can visit Bowling on Broadway which is also in Monticello for bowling, arcade games and more. Bison and Bourbon along with Haven Roast Coffee were also new businesses within the Sullivan County area. They offer local eats, great views and 'good energy' to the community.
