Carol A. D’Aleo, A Longtime Area Resident, Dies at 75
EAST FISHKILL – Carol A. D’Aleo, 75, an area resident for 50 years and formerly of Peekskill, died on February 6, 2017 at her home surrounded by her husband and children. Carol was dedicated to her family and friends, and will be forever missed.
Born in Peekskill on March 15, 1941, she was the daughter of William and Lillian (Mowbray) Gallagher.
On June 10, 1961 in Peekskill, Carol married Bernard D’Aleo who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Jeff D’Aleo and his wife Michelle of LaGrangeville, Lisa Gilman of Fishkill, and Steven D’Aleo of Red Hook; her grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Katy and Peter D’Aleo, and Christiana and Kaley Gilman; her brother, William Gallagher; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 7pm. Burial at St. Denis Cemetery will be private.
