Bigfoot Prints Across Dutchess County. What Do You See?

While many are complaining about how much snow we've gotten over the last few weeks, there's a specific group of believers who are loving it.

Bigfoot enthusiast have hit the jackpot with the recent snowfall as it makes for perfect tracking weather. And Bigfoot hasn't let us down!

Over the last few days, several tracks have popped up around Dutchess County that have folks questioning Bigfoots existence in the area.

Bigfoot Researchers of the Hudson Valley shared 3 recent tracks that popped up in Wappingers Falls, Spackenkill and in Milan.

Gayle Beatty tells us that she usually receives more reports about prints in the region, but Beatty explains Bigfoot is "known to raid dumpsters and people’s garbage. They also seek shelter in barns and abandoned buildings."

Take a look at these prints with 6 foot strides in between from Wappingers Falls:

Then there were these prints that turned up in the Spackenkill neighborhood near Poughkeepsie:

And finally, a woman in Milan was snowshoeing near Wilcox Park and stumbled across these unusual tracks:

It looks like the team at Bigfoot Researchers of the Hudson Valley will be investigating in the future with more information to come.

All Aboard The Sasquatch Express in Upstate, New York

An Upstate, New York railway is taking advantage of the popularity of Bigfoot and will unveil The Sasquatch Express this summer. Frankly, I can't believe it took this look.

The Saratoga Corinth & Hudson Railway will offer a 90-minute family friendly Sasquatch "adventure like no other!"

They share on Facebook that the train journey "blends folklore, fun and fireside fun" for guests aboard as they enjoy comfort foods like baked beans, franks and mac and cheese served in an old-fashioned tin cup.

Kids get in on the fun with an Adventure Guide with clues and Bigfoot facts.

At the end of the trip, guests will gather around the bonfire and learn all about Bigfoot and its local history to New York State and Bigfoot stories from the North Country.

Tickets will be available soon for the Sasquatch Express that departs in July and August of 2026.
