I’m Allison Kay, your on-air hostess with the mostest….cats. I have a question for you: How many cats are too many cats? If you’re thinking more than three, then consider me the Hudson Valley’s youngest old crazy cat lady. As a native H.V. resident, I grew up surfing the local radio channels at home, in the car, and on the beach during summer breaks. I dreamt of my voice being broadcast from behind the mic over the radio waves and into the speakers of loyal listeners. I majored in Broadcasting at SUNY Oswego (go Lakers!) and got a night gig hosting at another station. “Just keep swimming” I told myself, and you’ll get to where you want to be. Dude, I swear there’s a point that I’m trying to make with these gnarly surfing references. My nights are now spent with family, friends, and of course my cat crew. Allison Kay: radio personality by day, kween of kitties by night!
