Andy DiMarco left this world peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, Eleanor, and family on February 5, 2017. In passing, Andy joins his beloved son Scott, and his brothers and sisters, Mary, Tony, Louise, Steve and Nick. Andy's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He and Eleanor joyfully began every day by attending morning mass at Monastery of Poor Clare's. His generous and caring way was known throughout the community and uplifted everyone he encountered. It could be said, his life's mission was to make the world a better place, one person at a time. Andy was very proud to have served as a Marine during the Korean War. He had a fulfilling career with IBM as pooject manager, retiring as the Procurement Site Manager in Poughkeepsie. He later became involved with Feller Road Mobile Home Park and other real estate ventures. Andy leaves behind the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Eleanor, wife of 62 years. He also leaves behind his children David, daughter-in-law Barbara, Rob and Jacqui, and Michele and Roman; his grandchildren, Chase, Cole, Marcus, Kayla, Zach, Chase Hobby, Zach and Claire Hobby, and Vincent and Gianni Nola; as well as his great-granddaughters, Rhyan and Evie. He will also be dearly missed by his loving brother-in-law, Mike, and sisters-in-law Donna Mucci, Joan and Mo. He was an uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews who will always cherish the great times and life lessons from him. Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E.
