Orange County Choppers will return to television for a new season on Discovery.

American Chopper has been renewed for another season after returning to the airwaves after an extended hiatus. After the original series ended over 10 years ago, the Teutul family began filming a reboot of the popular reality series in Newburgh.

Season one of the new show aired last year. The series focused less on fighting and drama and more on building bikes and restoring the relationship between Paul Jr. and Senior. We spoke to Jr. right after the new series debuted, and he told us that he was excited about being able to repair the bond with his father after they publically split years ago.

The new season will debut on Tuesday, February 12 and pick up the storyline from last season. Last year the Teutuls joined together to restore one of their old choppers that had been neglected and was falling apart. This time, the father and son duo will be teaming up to bring a 1951 Buick back to its former glory.

You can also expect to see more chopper builds and possibly some special events filmed at Orange County Choppers in Newburgh. Last summer production crews invited local fans to a free concert that was filmed for a possible new episode of season 2.
