Why is it that no matter how much Chinese food you eat, you're always going to be hungry again in about an hour? I can have a whole meal consisting of chicken and broccoli with a side of rice, steamed dumplings, shrimp roll and a fortune cookie, and come out the other side asking for a complete second helping. Could someone please tell me how that is possible?

There is just an appeal to Chinese food that makes it so appealing wherever you are. Just like with McDonald's, you always seem to know what to order, regardless of where you are. Wherever you go, you're confident that you can find a General Tso's Chicken platter on the menu. It's uniform. But you know what? You're going to swear that it is not any better than your favorite spot back home.

Maybe that's true, maybe it isn't, but regardless of how similar Chinese restaurants can be at times, there is always something to set them apart. Perhaps its how they cut the vegetables. Some places may be more stingy on the meat than others. The dumplings are bigger at this one place compared to another. No matter what, there is always something to distinguish who is on top. And it's our job to help you make that decision for yourself, with our guidance of course.
