The second suspect has been arrested in connection to the attempted murder of an Orange County man.

Richard Vallejo, 28, of Newburgh was arrested in the early hours on Sunday by the City of Middletown police and turned over to City of Newburgh police. He has been charged with Attempted Murder in the second-degree, and Parole Violation.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on March 30th in the City of Newburgh, where police responded to a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, police found a 48 year-old man unconscious lying on the ground. The man was transported to St.Luke's Hospital where he was admitted.

Vallejo is being held in City lockup pending arraignment on Monday.
