An Orange County man on parole for 2014 drug charges is accused of selling crack cocaine.

Recently, Port Jervis City Court issued a no knock search warrant at the home of 32-year-old Davon Bush of Port Jervis. Bush is currently under parole supervision with the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision for a 2014 narcotics conviction, officials say.

A search of Bush’s home yielded an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine which police allege Bush intended to sell.

Bush was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony.

Bush was arraigned in Port Jervis City and remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office without bail pending action of the Grand Jury.

Under the New York State Criminal Procedure Law a local criminal court may not set bail on a defendant who has two or more prior felony convictions.

The search warrant was served by members of the Port Jervis City Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group.
