Warrant Wednesday: Sullivan County Man Wanted For Possession of Several Substances
Unfortunately, every week, there is no shortage of individuals who are wanted by the New York State Police for any number of reasons.
Each week, the New York State Police issue the outstanding warrants and they ask us all to help by spreading the word. The New York State Police post these warrants on their Facebook page and, while we have highlighted an individual here, you can see all of this week’s outstanding warrants below.
New York State Police Troop F, Liberty, are looking for 27-year-old Steven Barreira for criminal possession of a controlled substance. According to the New York State Police, Barreira was arrested while going through a checkpoint for the Mysterland Festival at Bethel Woods after it was discovered that he was in the possession of MDAM, cocaine, LSD, ketamine, hash oil, and marijuana. As he failed to return to court to answer the charges, a bench warrant for his areresty was issued.
