This looks like a great place for a "little" vacation.

If you have watched HGTV at any time the last few years, you've most likely come across one of those tiny house shows. Shows where people are downsizing their living situation from regular size houses to really small houses.

Most of the house that I've seen on TV have pretty much everything people need, just on a way smaller scale. And every time I watch I say to myself, "I don't think I could do it but would love to try it out."

Well, we can all now try out the "tiny" living movement, as a really cool place is open in nearby Greene County in the Catskills.

It's called "A Tiny House Resort" located in South Cairo New York and its name pretty much sums up what the resort is all about. The property manager Marjorie Juszczak told WTEN that they provide all the services that you would have in a regular house just on a smaller scale.

Each of the "tiny" units has its own name and all range in size from a very cozy 100 to 400 square feet. They all include kitchens, full bathrooms, WiFi and cable and are all set on beautiful land nestled in the Catskills.

If you have pets, no problem as the resort is dog-friendly, plus they offer some really cool amenities like guests are able to cook fresh eggs every morning from the chickens on the property and Marjorie even offers nightly Pygmy goat walks.

Rates for the "tiny" houses start at around $200 a night depending on the time of year and availability. You can make reservations online.
