Officials believe a fuel line was accidentally damaged which caused oil to seep into New Paltz's drinking water supply.

Many popular New Paltz restaurants are finding ways to stay open as the village responds to an ongoing water issue.

It's still advised to not drink water in New Paltz, but officials may have identified the problem.
