East Fishkill Police Department

On Monday night, September 9th, 2024, the New York Yankees and their fans held a moment of silence for a fallen police officer from Dutchess County.

Mark DiDato worked for the East Fishkill Police Department for 21 years and was predeceased by his brother, Sergeant Daniel DiDato also of the East Fishkill Police Department.

Not only was the bus without permit or license, but East Fishkill is an opt-out town when it comes to cannabis sales.

The 'weed bus' is no longer parked in a parking lot near a busy intersection on Rt. 82 in Hopewell Junction, and again, feedback from the local community is mixed.
