Dog toys as well as canned and dry dog foods are needed to care for the increased number of pups this local rescue has taken in lately.

Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts of Dutchess County, CARE of DC, said in a statement that over $20,000 was taken from their account.

A pet rescues based out of Dutchess County received $20,000 thanks to the Petco Foundation.
