Raymond M. Haskins, 94, of Kingston, passed peacefully Friday, March 24, 2017 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine, NY. He was born January 29, 1923 in Newport, RI to the late Raymond and Ruth Bell Haskins, Sr.

For many years, he worked as a Skycap for the New York New Jersey Port Authority at JFK International Airport. In 2011, after 62 years, he remarried the love of his life, Harriet "Mother Harriet" Fitzgerald Haskins. Harriet passed on July 5, 2012

During his high school years, he was an outstanding track athlete, he also served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during WW II. He most enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and was strong willed and a hard worker.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Stephen Haskins of Feasterville, PA, Theron C Haskins of Kingston and Raymond Haskins, Jr. of New York, NY, a special granddaughter, TiNora Lock who was so instrumental in getting the family together, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a brother Donald Dade, a sister, Margarite Thomas and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Anthony Haskins.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 – 12 noon. A Celebration of Raymond’s Life will be Saturday at 12 noon.
