Orange County Verizon Employee Charged With Stealing over $2,000 from Verizon

An Orange County Verizon employee is charged with stealing over $2,000 worth of products from Verizon.

New York State Police announced the arrest of Derek L Caraballo, of Washingtonville for 4th-degree grand larceny, a class E felony.

According to State Police, while employed by Verizon, Caraballo stole Verizon routers valued over $2,000 from Verizon Communications.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending, officials say.

Caraballo is due to appear in the Town of Newburgh Court on May 15.
