A $320 Million lawsuit contains disturbing accusations against a former Hudson Valley scout leader.

In 2012 Michael Kelsey was the pack leader of Troop 95 in Fishkill. That's when one Boy Scout's mother says he acted inappropriately during a trip to a pool in Millbrook. According to a report by NBC News, the woman's son told her Kelsey stripped naked in the locker room and sang a "bawdy version of 'Hakuna Matata.'" The boys were participating in a night swim at the pool when Kelsey allegedly sang the song from the Lion King "with his hips gyrating and penis swinging about."

After being told of the incident, the scout's mother complained. She was assured that the complaint was being taken seriously and the accusation would be investigated. But that's not what happened. According to the mother, the troop leader later called her up and said that her son must have misunderstood what had happened. The leader said he had questioned other scouts who said they didn't witness the incident.

Four years after that event, Kelsey was found guilty of sexually abusing two young scouts. Now, the parents of those two boys are filing a $320 million lawsuit against the Boy Scouts of Amerca. The parents say that the organization mismanaged Troop 95 in Fishkill and should have prevented the molestation of their children.

The suit alleges that because the "Hakuna Matata" incident was ignored and never reported and other policies were not followed, Kelsey was allowed to continue as a scout leader, putting him in the position to target other children.

Kelsey is currently serving time for his crime but says that he is innocent. This summer he tried to get his conviction overturned, but that request was denied.
