They are searching for a burglary suspect.

According to the Kingston Police Departments Facebook page, officers responded to a call yesterday April 30th, of a burglary in progress on Park Street.

Officers say that the subject fled out of the back of the residence before they arrived on the scene and as they conducted a search of the surrounding area trying to locate the suspect they discovered that there had been numerous other attempted burglaries.

Police are asking residents in and around the area of Clifton Avenue, Highland Avenue, Hasbrouck Avenue, Foxhall Avenue, Park Street, and East Chester Street in Kingston to contact them if they have observed any suspicious people in that area yesterday between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM.

If you do live in that area and have any video security systems at your house police are asking that you check those systems between those times for any suspicious activity.

Police say the suspect may have been wearing a hoodie and may have been using a black mountain bike at some point during the time of the burglaries.

If you have any information, please call the Kingston Police Department at 845-331-1671. All calls will be kept confidential.
