There are many ways to support our community firefighters. Many Hudson Valley Fire Companies have monthly fundraisers.

These events give you a chance to meet the men and women who are on the frontline for emergencies in our community. Check with your local firehouse to see what they have going on that you can be a part of this year. They most likely have something going on and who knows it could be as big as the Monroe Joint Fire District's Sunday Funday at the Captain's Table.

Orange County First Responders Will Guest Bartend to Raise Funds

The Captain's Table is the site of the 2025 Sunday Funday with firefighters from the Monroe Joint Fire District. On February 2nd, 2025, you are invited to an afternoon of fun from 1 to 5 p.m.

Firefighters from the Monroe Joint Fire District and a few surprise guests will be guest bartending at the Captian's Table. Every half hour through the afternoon you can expect a new crew. Proceeds from this event will be put towards the 2025 OCVFA Parade which will be hosted this year by the fire companies that make up the Monroe Joint Fire District.

The Monroe Joint Fire District is made up of three separate fire companies which are the  Mombasha Fire Company #1, Harriman Engine Company - Station #2, and Lakeside Fire & Rescue Company - Station #3.

The Captain's Table is at 547 Route 17 M in Monroe, New York. On February 2nd, 10% of the food sales will also go towards the parade fund.
