
East Fishkill, New York Woman Accused Of Stealing Over $1M
A 39-year-old East Fishkill, New York woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing over $1 million.
After a lengthy investigation that started back in January, the New York State Police (NYSP) have arrested and charged a 39-year-old East Fishkill woman who is accused of stealing over 1 million dollars from a New York organization.
Woman Steals Over $1 Million
According to the NYSP back on January 24th at approximately 9 a.m. troopers were contacted by a representative from a Saratoga Springs, New York organization that wanted to report an alleged theft. The report led investigators to look into the organization's claim and discovered that a Hudson Valley woman had fraudulently redirected funds according to a NYSP press release.

As the lengthy investigation spanned months the NYSP discovered that Kirsten Zubini, 39, from East Fishkill, NY had fraudulently redirected funds from a bank account that allegedly belonged to the organization to a bank account that was reportedly controlled by her back in January 2024. "Her actions resulted in the theft of more than $1 million," police said.
East Fishkill Woman Arrested
The New York State Police of Saratoga, NY, along with the help of the Dutchess County Probation Department arrested Zubini on Tuesday, June 18th, and charged her with first-degree grand larceny a class "b" felony. Zubini was arraigned at Malta Town Court in Ballston Spa, NY, and released on her own recognizance.
Police didn't reveal the name of the organization that she allegedly stole from or what her connection is to them but did say she is due back in court at a later date. When more information becomes available we will update this article.
