Festival Details

The highly anticipated Hudson Valley Garlic Festival is making its return to Saugerties at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Complex on September 28 and 29. This cherished event, running for over 30 years, celebrates all things garlic with a variety of attractions including garlic farmers, food vendors, craft artisans, and lively entertainment.

What’s New This Year

This year’s festival will showcase more than 200 garlic vendors, offering a diverse array of garlic-infused foods and products. Attendees can enjoy daily lectures and chef demonstrations, highlighting innovative ways to incorporate garlic into everyday dishes. A notable addition this year is the beer garden, where festival-goers can sample a selection of craft beers and beverages from various New York State breweries. “You can never have too much garlic,” says Pat Praetorius, one of the festival’s organizers.
