They say all good things must come to an end.  That's true when it comes to the weather too.  While I sound very dramatic, it's not like Thursday the Hudson Valley is going to see snow.  We get a day of showers and thunderstorms, then a cool down as we head into the weekend.

Let's get geeky, see high pressure has had a strong hold on your weather.  Hence, the sunshine and warm temps.  A low pressure system will come into the region and with that colder area.  We are talking 60, not like 40 or anything.

Here is the what the National Weather Service is saying about the forecast:

Thursday:  clouds will be increasing as we head throughout the day, high near 73. A chance of showers, with thunderstorms, especially after 1pm.

Thursday night:  Cloudy, with a low of 48.  More showers and thunderstorms expected, then just showers after midnight.

Friday:  Mostly Sunny, high near 67.

More showers and thunderstorms for Saturday and Sunday.
