Horrific. New York Man Falls To His Death Out of 12 Story Window

A man trying to fix his window fell to his death out of a 12 story window Friday morning. The incident happened on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. What's even worse was his wife was in the apartment when the tragic event occurred.

The NY Post says that 55 year-old Michael Courtian was standing on a chair and repairing a screen near the window, when he somehow lost his balance and fell to the pavement below. The Post says several construction workers and a police officer came to his aid and administered CPR. Sadly there was little they could  do.

Witnesses told the Post that the 55 year-old father of two, wasn't moving, and that he wasn't conscious or breathing.

ABC NY says Courtain was taken to Metropolitan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
