Road conditions this morning will vary depending exactly where you live.

We're getting reports of mostly clear roads, with salt melting much of the coating the Hudson Valley got. In areas south of I-84 and higher elevations in Ulster and Sullivan County there was a bit more snow, so conditions will take a little longer to clear up.

In Dutchess County Route 9 is clear this morning. A small coating of snow remains in some areas where salt was not applied. Side roads and neighborhoods are a little more slippery as of 6am.

Schools have already called in two-hour delays. Kingston, Newburgh, Middletown and Poughkeepsie districts are all on a delay this morning, with many more schools expected to follow.

You can stay up to date on all of the school delays by checking our storm center database. For up to the minute traffic information and road conditions be sure to download our free mobile app and turn on traffic notifications.

Of course, we'll have live updates on all of the weather throughout the morning, with updates on the much bigger storm that is expected to hit our region on Saturday evening.
