Holiday Gala Art Show and Sale

6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

You are cordially invited to the 4th Annual Roost Studios Gallery and Gifts Holiday Gala Art Show & Sale. 

Roost will exhibit art by Roost members and artists from all over the Hudson Valley and beyond. All art is $99 each, ready to hang in a home or office, and will be gift-wrapped to take home for yourself or for anyone on your holiday list. With a maximum size of 11" x 14", there is a perfect spot for every piece! Chat with the artists and discover what inspires them. Immerse yourself in the art and in the season. Meet up with friends and meet new ones and enjoy delicious food and drink. 

A silent auction with goods, products, and services from generous supporters in our community is waiting for your bid. Skydiving, hiking, a therapeutic massage, a new hairstyle, a perfect glass of rye or a complex wine...maybe a fine seafood dinner at home with French-pressed coffee. Bid on a fine dinner out, movie passes and pizza. Peruse a poetry anthology from Calling All Poets. Win a gift certificate for clothes and accessories. Take home art supplies to create your own museum piece to be professionally framed. Bid on 8" x 10” portrait photos or take home the perfect gift basket. Look for 4 tables with centerpieces designed around separate raffle items. A dollar or two in a candlelit jar means fun for you and funds for Roost!

A suggested $10 donation at the door will also help keep the studio available to our community to express itself in its unique way. Check out www.roostcoop.org for events including monthly member artist shows, artist group shows, pop up shows, Tai Chi, fan painting, Model Mondays, Creative Conversations artist salon, children's programs, Calling All Poets, and Wine, Women and Wealth. In January 2020, watch for information about a juried contest to design to a Roost T-Shirt.

Roost will be open to the public for viewing and/or purchasing during regular gallery hours Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Holiday Gala Art Show & Sale will be on display from December 12, 2019 for a soft opening until its closing on January 8, 2020. The gallery is free and open to the public.
