Delfina Craft, lifelong resident of the village of Wappingers Falls, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Born on January 24, 1924, she was the daughter of Henry Campilii and Angelica Ranalli Campilii. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward "Ted" Craft, as well as her brother Samuel Campilii and sister Teresa Chepaitis. She is survived by her sister Linda Giancarlo and brother Rudy Campilii, both of Wappingers Falls. Her family will cherish her memory, including son Lawrence (Barbara) of Marcellus, N.Y., son Gary (Teresa) of Wappingers Falls and Naples, Fla., daughter Mary (Dan) Cunningham, of The Woodlands, TX. She counted her grandchildren Laura, Jeff, Karyn and Ryan and her great grandson Cole among her greatest blessings. She held dear to her heart her many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Delfina was a proud graduate of the Vassar Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1945. She continued her education at the Albany Hospital School of Physical Therapy. Delfina valued her family and her faith above all else. At her request, any memorial donations may be made to her parish, St. Marys Catholic Church in Wappingers Falls. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church in Wappingers Falls. Arrangements are in charge of the Delehanty Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls. Anyone who knew Delfina understood that she found hapiness in simple things and in serving others. Her joyful, compassionate spirit made this world a better place.
