Coyote Grill Building For Lease, Changes Planned

Another Hudson Valley restaurant is gone and big changes are expected for the old building.

A listing has been posted by CR Properties for the building that was previously occupied by Coyote Grill on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. The property is being offered as a "development site" with proposed changes that would shrink the size of the current restaurant space and add additional retail and cafe businesses to the building.

According to the listing the landlord of the building will build to suit, also offering up an additional plot of land in the back of the property for more retail space.

Coyote Grill was the most recent restaurant to take over the space on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie next to the Econo Lodge. Previously the building was home to a Lonestar Steakhouse and before that, a Ground Round.

An electrical fire closed down the restaurant in November and although messages on their Facebook page claimed the shut down was just temporary, they are now listed as permanently closed on Yelp.
