Barbara Ranellone, of Fishkill, died on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. She was 83.
She was born on October 21, 1933, daughter of the late William and Mary (Damiano) Conte. Barbara was born & raised in Yonkers.
On June 18, 1955, she married Bernard Ranellone at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Yonkers. In 1960, Barbara and Bernard relocated to Mohegan Lake, where they remained for 46 years. In 2006, she and her husband moved to Fishkill, where she was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church.
Beginning in 1974, Barbara worked as a Dental Secretary until she retired in 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard, at home in Fishkill; two sons: Bernard Ranellone & his wife Lucille of Key West, FL and Michael Ranellone & his wife Susan of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Jenna Ranellone and Michael Ranellone; and her brother, William Conte & his wife Janet of Fishkill.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Entombment will be in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
