Two from Ulster County were arrested for allegedly selling methamphetamine.

Since earlier this year, members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) has been investigating the sale of narcotics in the Town of Hurley. Purchases of methamphetamine were allegedly made from Kenneth B. Gardeski, 51, of Saugerties and 41-year-old Jason M. Ferrara, in his West Hurley home.

Both were charged with 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 5th-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felonies.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail, Gardeski in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond and Ferrara in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $25,000 secured bond. They are both due at Hurley Town Court at a later time.
