It's a question that everyone has a different answer to, but I'm here to make the final ruling. My answer? Now. Actually, they should already be down.

We are officially past all the winter holidays, it's a fact. Kwanzaa ended January 1, Christmas was December 25, and Hanukkah ended December 20. It has been a week plus since these holidays have ended, and it's time to let it go.

I celebrate Christmas, so I'm not too familiar with the Hanukkah and Kwanzaa traditions, but I can imagine that a week after is more than enough time to have your decorations up. Hanukkah is over two weeks past, so I feel like it's definitely time to take the put the decorations away. If your Christmas decorations are still up, they should have been down last week.

I can't tell you how many houses I pass every day that still have a blow-up Santa displayed or a wire snowman. Some people just never take them down at all. While fun and winter themed, it's time for them to go. No more light displays, no more Christmas trees, no more holiday decorations.

It's almost Martin Luther King Jr. day people, take your holiday decorations down!
