Wet weather will begin the week in the Hudson Valley.  Showers for Monday and rain for Election Day.  Temps will be on the mild side, as a high pressure moves out of the region and several storms will impact our weather in the Hudson Valley.

Monday there will be showers, daytime temps will be around 50.  Monday night we’ll only drop down to 46.  Then on Tuesday, more of a widespread rain event but temps will go up to around 60.  Sunshine doesn’t return to the Hudson Valley until Wednesday.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday:  Cloudy, with showers likely after 11am.  High near 50.  Light east wind.

Monday Night:  Showers likely, with a low around 46.

Tuesday:  Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 61.  Light south wind.

Tuesday Night:  A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Wednesday:  Sunny, with a high near 59.
