A Dutchess County sex offender, with two names, who was wanted by police was found.

Last Thursday, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department asked for the public’s help as they actively searched for 47-year-old Mark D. Robinson.

It’s was believed that the Level-1 sex offender, who’s currently homeless, was somewhere in the Hudson Valley, likely the Dutchess County area.

Robinson , who also goes by the name William Robinson, was wanted on a felony warrant by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department for failing to provide an updated photo of himself to the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction over him, the photo above is from 2014, police say.

On Thursday, City of Poughkeepsie police announced that they arrested Robinson on a warrant related to his status as a sex offender. More information on his arrest wasn’t released.
