Vivian Listain Carlin, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 86

Vivian Listain Carlin, 86 of Newburgh passed on Sunday December 17th. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Vivian was the daughter of Raymond and Sylvia Listain and the sister to the late Barbara Buck. She was an elementary school teacher, a college professor and until the last week of her life, a marriage and family therapist. Vivian was married to the late Philip Carlin. Together they raised two children, Laurie and Scott. Vivian had many nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren are Eric, Aaron, Karen, April, Taylor and Kelsey. She also had ten great grandchildren whom she loved very much.
