Viola C. Robinson, 84, joined her husband, Ted, on March 13, 2017 after passing away at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born on January 9, 1933 in Queens, NY, the daughter of William & Mildred Nielsen Cardno. Viola married Theodore J. Robinson and he predeceased her on November 19, 1996.
Viola was employed for 22 years as a Bus Driver for the Wappingers Central School District and for 5 years as a Crossing Guard. Viola was a good wife who married her best friend while loving her sons and family. She was an avid NY Mets fan and she also had many friends from bowling and her bus driving days. Viola was well loved by many and will be missed by us all.
Survivors include her sons: John R. Robinson of Verbank, NY; Thomas Robinson of Poughkeepsie, NY and Matthew Robinson of San Diego, CA. There are 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Viola also left her extended family, The Massey's, Cheryl and Diane. She was predeceased by her brother: William C. Cardno.
