An Ulster County man is accused using forged checks to withdraw money from a local bank.

On Friday, New York State Police from Kingston arrested 39-year-old Nicholas A. Guido of Kingston for grand larceny, forgery and possession of a forged instrument, all class D felonies.

Guido was arrested after an investigation revealed that he withdrew funds from his bank account from deposited forged checks, police say.

Guido was arraigned before the Town of Ulster County and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $2,000 bail.
