A Dutchess County Pizza delivery person was recently attacked while making a delivery stop.

According to a press release from the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, on February 2nd went to make a delivery and was robbed when arriving to the location on Dubois Avenue in Poughkeepsie. The suspects were seen after the robbery running in the direction of Hudson Garden Apartments.

Detectives Cowel, Stitt and the City of Poughkeepsie Police Detective Division conducted an investigation which lead to the arrest of 3. Terrell Jennings 18, N’Zhari Benn 16 and an unnamed 14 year old. Each individual was charged with two counts of robbery in the 2nd degree. According to reports the three suspects were working together when they placed the order for the food from a local restaurant, when the delivery person showed up he was beaten and robbed of the money and food that was being carried.

The two adult suspects were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail and the youngest of the three was sent to a secure juvenile facility.

Over the past two months there have been two other robberies of a delivery person. The City of Poughkeepsie Police ask that anyone with information about these events call them at 845-451-7577.
