Did you throw mud with Nine Inch Nails? Were you there? Maybe you wish you were.

In 1994, to pay respects to the original Woodstock festival in back in '69, yet another large festival was held this time in Saugerties. Maybe you were there back in the '90s.

With over 500,000 people in attendance, the three-day party had a killer lineup of some of the best bands from the '90s. Blind Melon, Candlebox, Violent Femmes, The Cranberries and of course Nine Inch Nails.

Nine Inch Nails stole the show and is said to have had the largest audience of the festival.

Trent Reznor's performance was so intense and it's no secret that band hated playing large festivals. Later, Trent would admit that he only did the show for the money.

Watch as Nine Inch Nails plays through mud and technical difficulties. Check out this live version of Down In It. in Saugerties.
