If you've been enjoying the nice seasonal weather, Father's Day weekend will be much warmer. The latter half of the weekend, we will begin to crank up the temperatures. A ridge of high pressure is settled in over the Northeast east and that will be blue skies and sunshine. It will be dry and quite warm, but then a warm front starts heading for the area the second half of the weekend. This will bring summer like weather for the first part of next week. We could see 90's for the day on Monday. Overall, Father's Day weekend isn't that bad.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Saturday: Sunny, high near 83. There will be a nice light breeze in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, low 60.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, high near 88. Winds will pick up in the afternoon, from the southeast.

Monday: Partly sunny and hot, high near 96. There is a chance of a shower or thunderstorm.
