The Sullivan County Senior Games return to Monticello in September. 

If you're 55 or older, they are looking for you to compete. There will be a ton of friendly competitive games happening at  Ted Stroebele Recreation Center in Monticello.

The games will kick off on Monday September 11th at 8 am with an opening ceremony and breakfast.

The schedule for the games will be as follows:

  • 1-Mile Walk (at Monticello High School), Co-Ed Corn Hole/Ladder Toss, Men’s Horseshoes, Women’s Ping-Pong, Women’s Shuffleboard and Co-Ed Air Hockey
  • Tuesday, September 12: Men’s Bocci, Co-Ed Shuffleboard Doubles, Co-Ed Golf Putting, Men’s Darts, Women’s Horseshoes and Co-Ed Football Throw
  • Wednesday, September 13: Women’s Bocci, Men’s Shuffleboard, Women’s Darts, Co-Ed Basketball Shooting, Co-Ed Corn Hole/Ladder Toss
  • Thursday, September 14: Co-Ed Pinochle and Co-Ed Scrabble

A celebratory luncheon and bingo will close out the games on September 14th. Award pins will be awarded to the top three contenders in each category.

Please include a $7 registration fee made out to “Sullivan County Senior Games,” which will entitle you to a t-shirt, the breakfast and luncheon, the opening and closing ceremonies, and bingo and door prizes.
