Structure Fire Closes Portion of Route 9 This Morning

Commuters should give themselves extra time getting to work due to road closures.

According to Hudson Valley traffic reporter Nancy Reamy, a structure fire has caused road closures this morning.

The Phillipstown sheriff informed Reamy that the "serious" fire has closed all of Route 9 between Route 301 and Fishkill Road in Putnam County. Several Cold Spring businesses are located on this stretch of Route 9.

It's unclear how long the road closures will last.
