State Police Charge Hudson Valley Man with Raping Child

State Police arrested a 50-year-old Sullivan County man after he allegedly had sex with a child on several occasions.

On Sunday, State Police at Liberty arrested 50-year-old Ernest Seymour, of Loch Sheldrake, after an investigation into allegations that he engaged in sexual intercourse with a child. It was reported to State Police that the acts occurred on several occasions in the Town of Fallsburg.

Seymour was charged with 3 counts 3rd-degree rape and 2 counts of 2nd-degree criminal sexual act 3rd Degree, felonies. He was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
