With the help of social media, Oscar nominee and Hudson Valley resident, Mark Ruffalo was able to find his missing phone and wallet during this weekends blizzard.

When Sullivan County resident Mark Ruffalo lost his phone and wallet in New York City's weekend blizzard he didn't call the Avengers for help, instead he took to Twitter. A pair of young fans played the role of heroes.

The Oscar-nominated Spotlight star tweeted Saturday afternoon, "APB out for a cell phone in a wallet case out on the streets of NYC in a blizzard. My drivers license is in there. Reward and signed pic."

Quickly many fans replayed with helpful hints. While others joked that the Avengers actor should call on his super-hero buddies. However, the 48-year-old was amazed by all the responses, "Wow, thanks for all the tips and help for my lost phone... Really appreciated."

Less than twenty minutes later the Sullivan County resident's phone and wallet were found!

The clean-energy activist later shared a happy photo with two young girls who helped track down the actor's missing belongings. In the captiaion he wrote, "Thank Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding my Phone and wallet! Thanks Brown family for your decency."

Ruffalo is one of a handful of Oscar nominees with Hudson Valley connections.
