Ulster County Sheriff Paul J. Van Blarcum talks school shooting threats and what can be done as we move forward.

We have entered uncharted territory when it comes to the violence in schools and how to deal with the amount of threats that are taking place in our local schools, almost on a daily basis.

We have had schools close down for a few days to deal with threats. Schools in the Dover School district and for the second day in a row the Poughkeepsie School District has closed all schools because of a social media threat that was uncovered on Wednesday.

We thought it would be good for us to talk to Ulster County Sheriff Paul Van Blarcum to see how Ulster County is dealing with all of this and does he have a solution to fix this really scary issue? Do we arm Hudson Valley teachers? He answered all of our questions.....

Thank you again to the Sheriff for joining us and if you need to report anything in Ulster County you can do it online.
