Chuck E Cheese is offering a up a special day for children with special needs.

This came across my social media timeline and I know a few families who would love the opportunity to take part. Chuck E. Cheese, a popular children's pizzeria is now providing Sensory Sensitivity Sundays. On the first Sunday of every month, which started on January 8th, Chuck E. Cheese will open early from 9am until 11am  for customers with special needs.

Sensory Sensitivity Sunday is specifically for children with autism and special needs.If you've never been to a Chuck E. Cheese, it's a loud and overwhelming environment with games, music and a play area. The restaurant will accommodate customers on Sensory Sensitivity Sunday's with reduce lighting and noise, food and games will be made available and a trained and caring staff will be on hand to assist the families. All of the Hudson Valley Chuck E. Cheese locations will be participating on the first Sunday of every month.

You can visit Chuck E Cheese in Poughkeepsie by the South Hills Mall at 1895 South Rd, the Middletown location at 8 Orange Plaza Lane and the Nanuet location on 250 West Route 59.
