Search Warrant Leads to Felony Drug Charges

Authorities in Orange County arrested a Middletown man following a search of his residence. 

The Middletown Police, along with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff's Department Special Operations Group conducted a search warrant at 41 Woodlake Drive in Middletown, NY.

During the search, officers seized 448 grams of powder and crack cocaine, 713 grams of marijuana and over $3000 in currency.

Jmin Ward, 35, of Middletown, NY was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance First-Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Third-Degree, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana Second-Degree, all Felonies.

Mr. Ward was arraigned and remanded to Orange County Jail.
