Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of Poughkeepsie Man

Police conducted a search warrant, and it resulted in the arrest of a wanted Poughkeepsie man. 

On Thursday April 20th, 2017  the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department’s Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Emergency Services Unit conducted a search warrant in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The search warrant was obtained to affect the arrest of Jaquon Dancy, 21, who was wanted on a Dutchess County Criminal Court arrest warrant for Criminal Sale and Possession of a Controlled Substance, both felonies.

Darcy was arraigned in the Dutchess County Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, $100,000 bond.
