Officials are searching and looking for the public’s help as they hope to find a Hudson Valley man that’s labeled as a, “paranoid schizophrenic and developmentally disabled.”

Raymond Ortiz,57, of Yonkers was last seen leaving St. Joseph's Hospital in Yonkers around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse classified Ortiz as a missing vulnerable adult, a “paranoid schizophrenic and developmentally disabled man,” who may be in need of immediate medical attention.

Ortiz was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and blue and white sneakers. He’s listed as a 5’11” 170 pound Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes.

The black-and-white photo, pictured above, is the only photo of Ortiz that officials were able to provide.

If anyone has any information as to Ortiz’s whereabouts, or has seen him, you can contact the Yonkers Police Department at 914-377-7900. Or the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
