LAGRANGE - Ryan James Mucci, 17, an area resident for the past 10 years, died on June 1, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He previously lived in Yonkers.

Ryan was born on December 18, 1999 in Manhattan. He was currently a Senior at Arlington High School and was looking forward to starting at Dutchess Community College in the fall. Ryan enjoyed spending time with his friends and playing football, he also played basketball for the Town of LaGrange.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Eileen Mills Mucci of LaGrange; his father, Stephen Mucci, Jr. of Purdys; his brother, Kyle Mucci; his grandparents, Eileen Mills, Stephen Mucci, Sr., and Maryann and Gilbert Osorio; the love of his life, Shelby McGill; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his dog, Rebel. He was predeceased by his grandfather, James Mills.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

Ryan was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but especially by his younger brother, Kyle, who he shared a special relationship with, and his girlfriend, Shelby.
