A Dutchess County man is facing a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a disabled man, following an investigation.  

On May 5, 2017, State Police commenced an investigation into a complaint to the New York State Justice Center.

The investigation revealed that on May 2, 2017,  a man kicked a 20-year old disabled man in the leg, causing him to fall.

The victim was treated by the nursing staff at the residential facility, which is for people with developmental disabilities.

The man, was identified as Mohamed Ibrahim, 45, of Rhinebeck, NY.

Ibrahim was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person, a Class E Felony.

Ibrahim was processed and released with an appearance ticket directing him to Red Hook Court Thursday evening.
