Let's take a walk down memory lane for a moment.

Think back to January 2016 when an owl was saved from the middle of road in Red Hook. Officer Travis Sterritt scooped the injured owl up, took a picture and set the owl down back in the woods.

The picture made the rounds around the Hudson Valley due to the kind gesture, but ladies also took notice on how attractive Officer Sterritt was.

We had him call into the show last year to discuss the attention and of course the save.

It looks like Officer Sterritt and his partner Officer Wright are back at it saving another bird.

Last week. according to a Facebook post on the Red Hook Police Department page, the officers were called to the Red Hook Community Center for a report of a large animal in the wall. Going above and beyond, Officer Sterritt and Wright worked to get the animal out of the wall, take a look:
